Heifer International works with communities on every continent to end hunger and poverty and to care for the earth by “passing on the gift” of animals and their offspring – along with knowledge, resources and skills – thereby creating an expanding network of hope, dignity, and self-reliance.

The Glenview Community Church has been an active supporter of Heifer International and its programs for decades. From Sunday school projects to purchasing animals to fill an “ark” bound for another continent, to “Heifer Hoedowns” and our famous Heifer quilt Auctions,, supporting the activities of Heifer International is an important part of our mission outreach program.
